You know how there are different methods of learning like: by example, or demonstration, or going to school?  Well, I learn by making mistakes.  So I'll save you some trouble.  Don't say things to me like: "Don't make the same mistake I did." or: "Don't make the mistake of...(whatever)".  Because I will.
